Essential Duties and Responsibilities Adhere to established safety protocols including infection control, safe patient handling, and critical lab notifications to ensure a secure care environment. Manage and maintain central lines while preventing surgical site infections according to policy. Administer medications, perform nursing interventions, and provide education to patients and families to promote health outcomes. Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments to monitor status, enhance safety, and support clinical decision-making. Document all care activities and quality measures accurately to comply with standards and facilitate team communication. Effectively communicate patient information to physicians and healthcare team members to improve outcomes. Delegate tasks appropriately while fostering teamwork and accountability.
