#TeamA Job Summary:Title:RN - Post Anesthesia Care Unit Location:Oklahoma City, OK 73104 Duration:13 weeks (Extending) Shift:Nights.12 hours.3 days a week.Pay rate:Lucrative pay Benefits Bonus.Requirements:Must have 1year of recent PACU experience.Active license in OK state or compact license.COVID Vaccinated.BLS / CPR Preferred.ACLS certification.PALS certification.Responsibilities:Monitor patients' vital signs, airway management, and overall condition during recovery from anesthesia or sedation Administer medications, including IV infusions and pain management treatments, following strict protocols Perform advanced procedures such as suturing, catheterization, and sterile dressing changes with precision and aseptic technique Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify complications early and implement appropriate interventions Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans Document all patient interactions accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as Epic or Cerner Provide education and discharge instructions to patients and their families to promote recovery at home Qualifications:Valid RN license with current state licensure in good standing Critical care experience preferred, including ICU or Level I/II Trauma Center background Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner; experience with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) is a plus Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to post-operative care Experience with IV insertion, medication administration, airway management, and aseptic technique Ability to perform complex assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluation Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Join us in delivering outstanding post-anesthesia care that makes a real difference in patients' recovery journeys!
