Job Summary: Provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered nursing care in a setting that exemplifies best practices and outstanding customer service. Engage in ongoing education to apply evidence-based practices and promote cost-effective care. Deliver excellent guest relations to patients, families, providers, and colleagues, embodying core values such as respect, integrity, collaboration, empathy, and courage. Communicate clearly to manage expectations and provide timely responses to patient needs, ensuring a positive care experience. Contribute to a therapeutic environment by minimizing noise, supporting healthcare students, and fostering positive relationships within the care team. Prioritize patient and workplace safety by adhering to national safety standards, HIPAA, and organizational policies, reporting incidents proactively. Demonstrate leadership and commitment to professional growth through certifications, advanced education, and participation in shared governance. Promote teamwork by motivating and guiding colleagues, encouraging cooperation, and providing mentorship and constructive feedback. Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or, if unaccredited, a minimum of five years acute care nursing experience. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or required within five years of hire.
