Job Description:RN - Pediatric Operating Room (Pedi OR) - Travel Requirements:Minimum 1-2 years of recent Pediatric Operating Room RN experience BLS certification required Strong circulating experience required Scrub experience preferred Experience in a Level 1 Trauma or high-acuity pediatric setting preferred Ability to care for neonate, infant, and pediatric surgical patients Job Details:Shift Type = Nights Shift Hours = 9:00 PM - 7:30 AM Schedule = 4x10s Assignment Length = 13 Weeks (Start Date:05/12/2026) Weekends = Required (variable schedule) On-Call = Yes Patient Population = Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics Facility Type = Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center / Academic Medical Center Orientation = 12 hours (non-billable) Description of job:SnapCare is seeking an experienced Pediatric Operating Room Registered Nurse to support the surgical team at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) - Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland, OR.This role is focused primarily on circulating in the Pediatric OR, with scrub experience considered a strong plus.As a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center and academic medical facility, this environment requires strong clinical judgment, excellent teamwork, and the ability to manage high-acuity pediatric surgical cases.This is an excellent opportunity for an OR RN looking to grow their experience in a nationally recognized children's hospital.Qualifications:Minimum 1-2 years of Pediatric OR RN experience Current BLS certification Proven experience in circulating pediatric surgical cases Preferred experience scrubbing and working in a Level 1 Trauma center Strong knowledge of perioperative practices, sterile technique, and documentation Excellent communication and teamwork skills Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care in a pediatric operating room Circulate surgical cases while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety Assist surgical teams in high-acuity pediatric trauma and specialty procedures Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies prior to procedures Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to OR policies and protocols Advocate for pediatric patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff Additional Notes:No prior travel experience required COVID-19 vaccination not required Flu vaccination status not specified No block scheduling available SnapCare Benefits:End of Shift Payments Medical, dental, vision, life, disability Guaranteed Hours Why work for SnapCare:Get end-of-shift pay through our Paymint app Enjoy comprehensive benefits that cover medical, dental, vision care and more Access our round-the-clock clinician support team whenever you need assistance SnapCare has earned the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval, a testament to our dedication to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety #Nursing1 Job Types:Full-time, Travel nursing, Contract Pay:$2,160.00 - $2,484.00 per week Work Location:In person.
