Our client is currently seeking a RN – Telemetry (12‑Hr, Days) Location: LSU Health (candidate must live at least 65 miles away) Shift: 12‑hour Day Shift Bill Rate: $79.05 Hiring Manager: Candy Fuxan Start Date: 05/04/2026 Duration: 12 weeks End Date: 07/27/2026 This role acts as a leader in the provision of patient care using the Nursing Process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. The RN effectively delegates, directs, and assists licensed and ancillary team members; assumes accountability for quality patient outcomes; and demonstrates professional responsibility while supporting the organization’s philosophy of nursing. This Job Will Have The Following Responsibilities Deliver patient‑centered nursing care utilizing the Nursing Process Perform comprehensive assessments and reassessments of telemetry patients Identify learning needs and implement appropriate patient and family education Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources effectively Serve as a leader and collaborative partner on the interdisciplinary care team Utilize clinical data to evaluate outcomes and support process improvement Adapt care and communication style to meet the needs of diverse patient populations Promote customer satisfaction, employee morale, and nursing excellence Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards Uphold patient safety, privacy, and ethical standards Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications & Requirements Education and/or Certification Requirement Required: Registered Nurse Diploma Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Required: Active RN license in state of practice Required: Current BLS (American Heart Association) Experience Requirement Required: 2+ years of RN experience, preferably in telemetry or acute care settings Management Requirement Ability to delegate and direct care team members Acts as a clinical leader on the unit Process Oversight Requirement Accountability for quality patient outcomes Ensures compliance with clinical, regulatory, and safety standards Adheres to organizational Compliance & Privacy Program and Standards of Conduct Specific Skills Requirement Strong computer proficiency with EMRs and web‑based applications Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time‑management skills Demonstrates sound clinical judgment and ability to work independently Additional Requirements Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including heavy lifting Routine exposure to blood, body fluids, and communicable diseases Potential exposure to hazardous medications and waste Must comply with all facility onboarding and health requirements By providing your phone number, you consent to: (1) receive automated text messages and calls from the Judge Group, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively "Judge") to such phone number regarding job opportunities, your job application, and for other related purposes.
