Essential Duties and Responsibilities Adhere to established safety protocols including infection prevention, safe patient handling, and critical lab notifications to ensure a secure care environment. Maintain and care for central lines while preventing surgical site infections according to policy. Administer medications, perform nursing interventions, and provide patient and family education to support quality outcomes. Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments to monitor status, enhance safety, and communicate findings to the healthcare team. Document all patient care activities and quality monitoring data to support clinical decisions and compliance. Effectively communicate patient information to physicians and team members to improve outcomes. Delegate tasks appropriately while fostering teamwork and accountability. Engage with patients and families promptly to enhance their experience and support health education. Apply critical thinking in nursing practice and pursue continuing education to develop skills. Education Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required. Experience At least one year of nursing experience is preferred. Requirements Current RN license in a state within the Compact Licensure system or equivalent. Graduate nurses must obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation.
