Job Summary: The Roller Operator is responsible for operating compaction equipment to achieve proper density and surface finish during asphalt paving operations. This role is critical to ensuring pavement quality, longevity, and compliance with project specifications by applying the correct rolling patterns, timing, and techniques in coordination with the paving crew. Maintain continuous rolling operations to support paving crew productivity and prevent delays in the paving process Determined. Operate roller safely in close proximity to paving equipment, traffic, and crew members Obligated. Apply appropriate rolling techniques based on material temperature, lift thickness, and site conditions Committed to serve. Maximize equipment performance through daily inspections and proper operation of roller systems (water, vibration, etc.) Respect and engage. Coordinate closely with paver operators, screed operators, and foremen to ensure proper timing and compaction results Efficiency. Minimize rework by achieving density requirements the first time and maintaining consistent rolling patterns Mastery. Adjust rolling methods in real time based on field conditions, mix behavior, and project requirements Requirements, Education and Experience: Demonstrated experience operating asphalt rollers (steel drum and/or pneumatic preferred) Stro
