Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various repair and restoration tasks, particularly in construction environments. This role involves working on-site to restore and maintain structures, utilizing hand tools and equipment to ensure high-quality workmanship. The Repair Technician will be responsible for interpreting schematics, performing heavy lifting, and executing tasks related to remodeling, tile laying, metal stud framing, and more. Responsibilities Perform repairs and restoration tasks on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety standards. Utilize hand tools effectively for various tasks including plumb work and fabrication. Execute remodeling projects which may include tile laying and metal stud framing. Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements and specifications. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining quality. Conduct heavy lifting as required for transporting materials or equipment on-site. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Requirements Proven experience in construction or repair work is preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment relevant to the trade. Ability to read and understand schematics related to repair projects. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing. Knowledge of remodeling techniques, including tile laying and metal stud framing is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective teamwork on-site.
