Room Attendant Holiday Inn Savannah I-95 Gateway is committed to delivering a safe, clean, and welcoming experience for every guest. We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented Room Attendants who take pride in cleanliness and understand that guest satisfaction begins with a spotless room. Most weekends and holidays are required. Position Summary The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms and public areas in strict adherence to IHG brand standards and IHG Way of Clean protocols. This role plays a critical part in guest safety, satisfaction, and overall hotel reputation. Key Responsibilities IHG Way of Clean Standards Follow all IHG Way of Clean enhanced cleaning and disinfecting procedures Properly use approved cleaning chemicals and PPE as trained Sanitize all high-touch surfaces (remote controls, light switches, door handles, thermostats, phones, bathroom fixtures, etc.) Follow structured cleaning sequence and inspection checklist Maintain documented cleanliness and room readiness standards Guest Room Responsibilities Clean and service assigned guest rooms daily Make beds according to Holiday Inn/IHG presentation standards Thoroughly clean and disinfect bathrooms Vacuum, dust, mop, and sanitize all surfaces Replace linens, towels, and guest amenities Remove trash and transport to designated areas Inspect room condition and report maintenance issues immediately Public Areas Maintain cleanliness of hallways, linen closets, and assigned public areas Assist with deep cleaning projects as needed Support team during high-occupancy and sold-out weekends Qualifications Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred Strong attention to detail and time management skills Ability to work independently while meeting productivity goals Must be dependable and punctual Ability to stand, bend, push carts, and lift up to 30 lbs Must be available to work most weekends and holidays Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude Schedule Full-Time and Part-Time positions available Daytime shifts Most weekends required Holidays required What We Offer Competitive hourly pay IHG employee travel discounts worldwide Supportive and respectful team environment Opportunity for advancement within PME Hospitality Stable, structured workplace with clear cleanliness standards The Ideal Candidate ✔ Takes pride in maintaining spotless spaces ✔ Understands that cleanliness equals guest trust ✔ Thrives in a fast-paced, high-occupancy environment ✔ Follows structured cleaning processes without shortcuts ✔ Supports team success during busy weekends Join Our Team If you are ready to help us deliver the confidence and comfort our guests expect under the IHG Way of Clean promise, we encourage you to apply today.
