We’re looking for a Full-Service Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team in Austin, TX. This is a remote position that requires a motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills and a commitment to safety and service. Key Responsibilities: Operate a 16-ft box truck safely and efficiently. The safe operation of a commercial vehicle in often dense or congested environments. Deliver automotive products to customers while providing exceptional customer service with a professional and courteous attitude. Represent the company in a friendly and professional manner at all times. Ensure safe, accurate, and on-time delivery according to assigned route schedule. Obtain an electronic signature and P.O. for all deliveries. Receive and process credit card payments. Organize and put away products delivered on-site at customer locations. Haul away any empty drums. Must maintain a CDL w/HazMat endorsement and obey all laws governing the transit of hazardous materials. Know and obey all general traffic safety laws. Perform daily and weekly inspections on assigned vehicle and keep the vehicle clean both inside and out. Keep the truck's equipment in working condition and immediately report any issues to Dispatch. Work directly with the Sales Rep to create a coherent two-man team with emphasis on good communication and customer service. Communicate with the Sales Rep regarding the completion of sales notes. Responsible for communicating to Sales Rep and Dispatch any customer or delivery-related issues as they arise. We will support and guide you through the process of earning your Class C CDL with Hazmat endorsement. Requirements: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and 6 years of personal driving history. Comfortable driving a 16-ft box truck. Familiarity with DOT regulations is a plus. Required to load truck, deliver and unload at customer location. Class C CDL w/Hazmat endorsement Subject to random drug/alcohol screenings. Able to Walk/Sit/Stand for long periods. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs Able to maneuver 55 gallon drum with use of a drum dolly. Good decision making and communication skills are a must.
