Route Set-Up Operator

Under direct supervision of the Team Leader/Supervisor, this position performs the set up of routes one day ahead of the scheduled day. Support the mission of the plant which is: On-time delivery of a quality product at a reasonable cost. Focus efforts on safety, efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement. Follow all company policies, procedures, safety and security. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Select and pack required product from shelve, conveyor, prepared buckets to ensure all routes are set up accordance with specifications outlined in the Production Operator Instruction Sheet (POIS). Follow all operator instructions for the position as set forth in the POIS. Must meet the pieces per hour production standard for each item. Perform work in a safe manner and in accordance to Company’s safety practices and procedures. Keep the work area neat and well organized. Other related duties as assigned by management, to ensure cross training is accomplished within the department to maximize the efficient processing of all linen products.
