Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our Healthcare & Medical Services department on the day shift. As an RRT with Piedmont Healthcare, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered respiratory care across a diverse population in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Working within our non‑profit, mission‑driven healthcare system, you will assess, plan, and deliver respiratory therapies for patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions, including administering oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy; managing ventilators and other advanced respiratory support devices; and performing diagnostic procedures such as arterial blood gas sampling and analysis, pulmonary function testing, and bedside respiratory assessments. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to develop and adjust care plans, respond to respiratory emergencies such as rapid responses and codes, and provide education to patients and families on respiratory disease management, equipment use, and discharge care. In this role, you will document care accurately in the electronic medical record, follow evidence‑based protocols and infection prevention standards, and help ensure regulatory and safety compliance.
