Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team on a PRN, day-shift basis. As part of a leading non-profit healthcare system serving communities across Georgia, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment. In this role, you will perform assessment, planning, and delivery of respiratory therapies for patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions, following physician orders and established clinical protocols. Typical duties include administering oxygen and aerosolized medications, performing chest physiotherapy, managing and troubleshooting ventilators and other respiratory equipment, obtaining and analyzing arterial blood gases, and documenting all care accurately in the electronic medical record. You will participate in patient and family education on respiratory disease management, equipment use, and discharge instructions, while promoting safety, comfort, and dignity at every step. Working closely with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals, you will contribute to care planning, respond to rapid response or emergency situations, and help ensure timely and appropriate interventions for patients across various care settings.
