Job Description:Facilities Janitor Monday - Friday 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM POSITION OVERVIEW Maintains facility in a clean and orderly manner by performing the following duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Operates forklift as needed to move non-production items.Maintains break and rest room areas in clean and sanitary condition.Empties cardboard container and binds them with binding machine.Cleans shop hallways with automated floor sweeper and by hand when necessary.Cleans all office spaces.Restocks all hand towel, air deodorizer, toilet paper and hand soap dispensers.Other duties may be assigned.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school education preferred.LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Attendance is an essential job requirement defined as having regular, consistent, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance including the ability to work regular hours and shifts, overtime before and after shifts and on weekends as required by union contract.Ability to work as part of a team, including all related departments/plants or independently as required to achieve internal and external customer satisfaction.PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.The employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.The employee is occasionally required to sit and talk or hear.The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.The employee is frequently exposed to vibration.The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.Job Type:Full-time Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience:Janitorial:1 year (Required) Shift availability:Day Shift (Required) Ability to Relocate:Parsons, KS 67357:Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location:In person #ADTI.
