This is an exciting opportunity for a visionary leader to develop and grow an evolving model of acute care surgery services in a busy community setting. MMC is currently building a robust program in Emergency General Surgery (EGS) with robotics as a component of program as well as Surgical Critical Care (SCC) program to support the department of surgery. The Director will have 80% clinical and 20% administrative responsibilities, with on-call coverage required. The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $600,000 to $830,000 per year. Position Overview: Provide strategic and clinical leadership to establish a comprehensive Acute Care Surgery program Oversee the development and implementation of Emergency General Surgery Deliver direct patient care in emergency general surgery and support critically ill surgical patients in the postoperative period.
