As part of our continued growth under the One Norlee platform, we are seeking a Safety Manager to support and strengthen our safety culture across operations. Position Summary The Safety Manager is responsible for leading, coordinating, and continuously improving the company’s safety programs across multiple projects and locations. This role goes beyond site-level compliance and focuses on proactive risk management, leadership engagement, and accountability systems that support operational excellence. The Safety Manager partners closely with operations leadership, project teams, and field personnel to integrate safety planning into all phases of work while reinforcing a culture of personal responsibility, hazard awareness, and continuous improvement. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Safety Manager’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Lead and oversee safety efforts across multiple job sites and operational locations Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate hazards through planning, audits, and field presence Develop, implement, and continuously improve company safety policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with regulatory requirements and company standards Provide strategic guidance and coaching to field leadership, supervisors, and project teams on safety expectations and accountability Plan, coordinate, and deliver safety training programs to ensure understanding, engagement, and consistent application of safe work practices Lead or support incident, near-miss, and hazard investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action tracking Collaborate with Operations Managers, Project Managers, Directors, Superintendents, and the Safety Director to integrate safety into pre-construction planning, JHAs, toolbox talks, and daily work execution Monitor compliance with OSHA and applicable local, state, and federal safety regulations Track safety performance metrics, audit results, leading indicators, and trends; prepare reports for internal leadership Support emergency response planning, drills, and preparedness efforts across projects Ensure subcontractors, vendors, and partners meet Norlee Group safety expectations Maintain accurate safety documentation, logs, and records Serve as a visible safety leader in the field, reinforcing expectations through presence, observation, and engagement Competencies Leadership & Influence Demonstrates the ability to lead without direct authority, influence field teams, and partner effectively with operations to achieve shared safety goals.
