Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead and oversee safety programs across large-scale construction projects. This role is responsible for driving compliance, mitigating risk, and promoting a strong safety culture across field operations. The Safety Manager serves as a key leader, partnering with project management, field supervision, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are executed safely and in accordance with regulatory and company standards. This position requires a hands-on safety professional who is comfortable operating in dynamic, high-accountability environments and is willing to travel or relocate as project needs evolve. Key Responsibilities Lead the development, implementation, and management of site-specific safety programs Serve as the primary safety authority for assigned projects Ensure full compliance with company policies, client requirements, and OSHA regulations Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments Review job hazard analyses, pre-task plans, and critical activity plans Support project start-up meetings by establishing safety expectations and requirements Lead incident response efforts, including investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions Track, analyze, and report safety metrics, trends, and leading indicators Coordinate and facilitate safety training, orientations, and toolbox talks Mentor, coach, and develop Site Safety Specialists and field leadership Partner with project managers and superintendents to proactively address safety risks Interface professionally with subcontractors and client safety representatives Maintain all safety documentation, reports, and regulatory records Support audits and inspections from regulatory agencies or clients Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications: 5 or more years of experience in construction safety management Proven experience supporting large-scale commercial, industrial, or mechanical construction projects Strong working knowledge of OSHA construction standards and safety best practices Experience leading incident investigations and corrective action plans Demonstrated ability to influence field teams and promote a proactive safety culture Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Highly organized with strong documentation and reporting capabilities Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook Comfortable working in both office and active construction site environments Willingness to travel or relocate based on project needs Benefits Health/Vision/Dental Insurance 401K plan with company match PTO/Sick Leave/Holidays HSA/FSA/HRA Accounts Wellness Programs Relocation assistance for qualified candidates Vehicle package Email Your Resume In Word To Michael.Crabtree@CyberCoders.com Looking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
