Role Description The Safety Professional will oversee and implement safety protocols to ensure compliance and a safe working environment. Responsibilities include conducting safety training, developing health and safety plans, implementing environmental health and safety (EHS) standards, and investigating accidents to identify risks and preventative measures. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Tampa, FL. The Safety Professional will collaborate with team members to uphold company safety values and drive continuous improvement in the safety program. Qualifications Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and protocols Technical expertise in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) practices and Occupational Health standards Experience in conducting Safety Training sessions and workshops Proficiency in Accident Investigation and developing actionable recommendations Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to identify and resolve safety issues effectively Experience in the traffic control or construction industry is a plus Relevant certifications such as ATSSA certification or equivalent are required
