Job Overview As a Salad Bar Attendant / Baker, you will play a vital role in creating a vibrant and delicious experience for our customers. What you’ll do Prepare and assemble a variety of fresh salads and toppings, ensuring presentation is appealing and ingredients are fresh. Assist in baking delicious pastries and cakes, showcasing your cake decorating skills to create visually stunning desserts. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salad bar area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating special requests. Package food items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food production processes during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of salad bar ingredients and communicate needs to management for timely restocking. Uphold all food handling regulations and safety protocols to ensure a safe dining experience for customers. Basic qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or culinary environment is preferred. Strong knife skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques. Preferred qualifications Experience in baking or pastry arts is highly desirable. Background in catering or restaurant settings will be advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
