Job Description
OverviewCustom-Pak, Inc.is searching for a person to fill a Sales Account Manager position.Successful applicants must be familiar and have significant experience in sales; a high level of professionalism; and have an energetic team-building approach with an accomplished work history.----------------------------------- ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Identify new sales opportunities:Use organized and well-planned marketing techniques to help maintain the pool of potential customers.Contact potential new customers:Organize first contact efforts to ensure the best chance of securing quoting opportunities and further generate interest in Custom-Pak as source of supply.Cost and price goods and services:Use the RFQ module within IQMS to cost goods and services.Develop and deliver pricing to customers under the guidance of the General Manager.Maintain and service existing accounts:Maintain customer relationships through a variety of means including regular customer visits as deemed necessary.Identify and develop necessary vendor sources:As required find potential sources for high value supply of necessary components and services.Plan and coordinate product development:Use APQP module and other organizational tools to ensure on-time delivery and development of products that meet or exceed our customer's expectations.Create new part numbers, inventory items and BOM's:Convert information from the RFQ into new part numbers.Establish correct BOM's for part weight, cycle, labor, necessary miscellaneous inventory items, and packaging.Run regular contributions and maintain profitable sales prices:Run production reports to gauge actual costs versus quoted costs.When necessary, and under the instruction of the General Manager, make necessary pricing adjustments to better match economic conditions.Monitor and maintain account receivables:For each individual customer minimum monthly review must be made to prevent past due invoices.When necessary, elevate non-responsive customers or unresolved issues to the General Manager.Communicate Custom-Pak's needs and requirements in a way to promote continuous improvement to overall product value.RECOMMENDED COMPETENCIES:Associate's degree Experience in sales using strategic thinking and technical skills Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Technically trained and displayed competency in IQMS Excellent organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Willingness to travel Willingness to work in a team Knowledge of production, product development, and Custom-Pak business practices Job Type:Full-time Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
