As a Sales Arborist for Altitude Arborist, you will be an integral part of our leadership team. Your days will be spent using your knowledge of proper pruning, insect and disease management, and tree preservation to serve clients at the highest level. You'll grow a book of business, build lasting relationships, and represent Altitude Arborist as the trusted expert in the industry — turning consultations into signed proposals and one-time clients into lifelong ones. THE BASICS Employer: Altitude Arborist - Advanced Tree Care Location: Broomfield, CO Status: Full Time Skill Level: Experienced Base salary $52,000 - $83,000 DOE, plus uncapped commission — top performers have significant earning potential beyond the base range. (Higher range of pay is for those with all or most of the desired qualifications and significant experience) WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Actively growing and managing a client portfolio — nurturing existing relationships while consistently developing new ones through referrals, follow-up, and community presence. Creating sustainable pruning and well-thought-out removal plans. Conducting client consultations to assess tree and shrub health, then confidently presenting and closing service agreements — both one-time and recurring — that deliver long-term value to the client and revenue growth for Altitude Arborist. Managing all proposals through SingleOps software and working with our dedicated office staff for scheduling. Proactively following up on open proposals to move them toward a close, while delivering a client experience that earns referrals and repeat business. Working with the operations manager to ensure work order efficiency and clarity for the field staff Regularly meeting with the leadership team to strategize for the growth of Altitude Arborist Owning your sales metrics — tracking proposal volume, close rates, and revenue against targets and using that data to sharpen your approach. WHERE YOU WILL WORK You will perform consultations and services for a wide variety of clients in diverse locations from private gardens and backyards, to public spaces and commercial properties. A portion of your time will be spent indoors to coordinate and follow up with clients, complete paperwork, complete proposals, respond to emails, and attend meetings and trainings. WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE (Required) A proven ability to build trust quickly, present solutions confidently, and close Ability to maintain a consultative approach, putting health of trees and client interest first while also maintaining a competitive drive and a genuine desire to win business Comfort presenting recommendations with confidence and enthusiasm Experience managing a pipeline and prioritizing high-value opportunities ISA Certified Arborist or Journeyworker Arborist At least 3 years of tree work experience Strong tree ID and insect/disease diagnostic skills A strong work ethic, positive attitude, safety mindset, reliability, personal integrity, and desire to grow personally and professionally Valid driver’s license with a history of responsible driving Ability to speak and write in English Self-motivation Ability to work independently and as a team Strong computer and communication skills Attention to Detail Physical fitness and ability to work outside at all times in all weather conditions are required. Duty modifications may be made during specific seasons throughout the year. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
