Sales Area Vice President, Acute Care About the Company Respected provider of top-notch medical devices Industry Medical Device Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a Sales Area Vice President for Acute Care. The successful candidate will be tasked with driving revenue growth and expanding market share within acute care hospitals and health systems. This pivotal role involves the development of strategic relationships, the execution of complex sales cycles, and the delivery of value-based solutions to a diverse range of stakeholders, including clinicians, administrators, and supply chain professionals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales quotas, with a focus on developing new customer relationships. Key responsibilities also include leading a team of Clinical Specialists and Sales Associates to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Applicants for the Sales Area Vice President position must hold a Bachelor's degree, with an advanced degree being preferred, and have at least 7 years of successful healthcare sales experience in the medical product, supplies, devices, or distribution sectors. A strong background in acute care sales, particularly within the specified key IDNs, is essential. The role requires a candidate with a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, including the ability to navigate complex sales environments and engage with various decision-makers. Strong executive-level relationships, clinical acumen, and excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are also necessary.
