Sales Associate Harbert Antique Mall is looking for a friendly, reliable Sales Associate to join our team. This position is ideal for a college student looking for flexible work in a creative, design-focused environment. We are a busy antique mall featuring vintage furniture, décor, art, clothing, and one-of-a-kind finds from a variety of vendors. We’re looking for someone who is organized, outgoing, and comfortable working independently while helping create a welcoming experience for customers. Responsibilities Assist customers on the sales floor and at checkout Warmly greeting all customers and proactively aiding sales Help maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing showroom Merchandising and display styling Photograph and post items for social media or online promotion Assist with inventory organization and tagging Help vendors and staff with day-to-day operations Occasionally assist with lifting and moving furniture or décor items Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills Interest in vintage, antiques, fashion, art, or interior design preferred Comfortable working independently and managing tasks proactively Comfortable working with a team and understanding the day's goals Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Basic social media knowledge is a plus Retail experience required Ability to work standard eight-hour shifts Reliable transportation Position Details Weekend hours possible Great fit for students balancing classes or internships Opportunity to learn about antiques, vintage design, merchandising, and small business operations Fun, creative, and team-oriented environment To apply, please send a resume and short introduction explaining your interest in the position!
