Sales Associate Kismet Fine Rugs -- Jackson, WyomingSalary:$70,000 annually (potential to earn $100,000+)Housing Assistance:AvailableLocation:Jackson, WY (On-site position -- not remote) About Kismet Fine Rugs Kismet Fine Rugs is a luxury rug gallery located in downtown Jackson, Wyoming, with over 35 years of family-owned history.We specialize in exceptional hand-woven rugs sourced directly from master artisans around the world, offering a premium, highly personalized buying experience.Our gallery is known for its extensive inventory, refined aesthetic, and hands-on service approach.We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming, design-forward environment where clients receive thoughtful guidance and white-glove support.Role Overview You will play a key role on the gallery floor assisting clients with rug selection while also supporting daily administrative operations behind the scenes.The ideal candidate is personable, highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing customer-facing sales with office support tasks.This is an on-site position in Jackson, Wyoming, working closely with ownership and the gallery team.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Client Experience Greet and assist clients in the gallery with rug selection and design guidance Build relationships with customers, designers, and returning clients Prepare invoices, quotes, and sales documentation Coordinate deliveries, shipping, and customer follow-ups Maintain showroom presentation and assist with merchandising Support off-site rug trials and in-home consultations when needed Contribute to achieving individual and gallery sales goals Administrative Support Handle incoming calls, emails, and general inquiries Maintain client records and sales documentation Assist with scheduling, order tracking, and inventory coordination Support basic bookkeeping tasks such as filing receipts, organizing paperwork, and assisting with reports Help manage daily office operations to keep the gallery running smoothly Provide general executive and team support as needed Qualifications & SkillsRequired Strong interpersonal and communication skills Professional, polished demeanor with clients Highly organized with strong attention to detail Comfortable multitasking between sales and administrative duties Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented Basic computer proficiency (email, spreadsheets, point-of-sale systems) Preferred Experience in retail sales, luxury goods, interior design, or home furnishings Administrative or office support experience Interest in design, craftsmanship, or high-end interiors Ability to work weekends and occasional evenings Compensation & Benefits $70,000 annual salary Commission potential with opportunity to earn $100,000Housing assistance available Hands-on training in luxury product sales Opportunity to grow within an established premium brand Collaborative, design-driven work environment Why Join Kismet This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a respected luxury gallery while developing skills in both sales and operations.You'll work directly with beautiful, one-of-a-kind products, engage with clients from around the world, and play an essential role in the daily success of the business.If you enjoy working with people, appreciate fine craftsmanship, and thrive in a boutique luxury environment, we'd love to hear from you.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$70,000.00 per year Benefits:Employee discount Education:Bachelor's (Required) Experience:Digital marketing:2 years (Preferred) SEO:2 years (Preferred) Language:English (Required) Work Location:In person.
