Sales Associate - Residential Construction (Custom Homes) Mountain, WIFull-Time Base Commission About the Role Beaber Construction is seeking a motivated and organized Sales Associate to guide clients through the custom home building process--from initial inquiry through design, budgeting, and contract.This is a client-facing, relationship-driven role where you will help homeowners bring their vision to life while ensuring projects are fully prepared for construction.You will work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to develop project scope, pricing, selections, and timelines--then transition projects to the construction team for execution.What You'll Do Client & Sales Management Manage incoming leads and guide clients through the custom home building process Conduct consultations to understand client goals, budget, and design preferences Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout pre-construction Prepare and present proposals, budgets, and pricing Maintain consistent follow-up and an active sales pipeline Estimating & Budget Development Develop preliminary construction budgets and pricing Work with subcontractors and suppliers to gather cost information Update estimates as project details evolve Clearly communicate scope, pricing, and expectations to clients Design & Selections Coordination Assist clients with selecting finishes, materials, and design options Coordinate selections with vendors and suppliers Ensure selections align with budget and are properly documented Pre-Construction Planning & Scheduling Assist in developing initial project timelines Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers Ensure all requirements (plans, permits, financing, selections) are completed before construction Project Handoff to Construction Compile complete project documentation including:Contracts Plans & specifications Selections Budget details Project schedule Conduct a clear handoff to the construction team to ensure a smooth project start What Success Looks Like Strong pipeline of qualified leads Consistent conversion of prospects into signed contracts Accurate project budgets and client expectations Smooth transition from sales to construction High client satisfaction Qualifications Experience in residential construction, sales, estimating, or project management Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and pricing Ability to read and interpret construction plans Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects Self-motivated and results-driven Preferred Experience Custom home building or remodeling Construction estimating or budgeting Working with subcontractors and suppliers CRM or project tracking systems Work Environment Hybrid role including office, client meetings, construction sites, and showrooms Regular interaction with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams Standard office and CRM systems used daily Work Environment Walk construction sites Lift up to 75 pounds - occasionally Schedule & Hours Full-time position Core working hours typically between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Occasional evening or weekend meetings with clients may be required Travel Local travel within the service area required Occasional travel to project sites, supplier showrooms, and client meetings Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary performance-based commission Opportunities for growth within the company Direct involvement in high-value custom home projects Why Beaber Construction?
