Job Summary Smoke Chalet is looking for a friendly, dependable, and knowledgeable Sales Associate to join our team. As a key member of our smoke shop in Fallbrook CA, you’ll help create a welcoming environment for customers while assisting with product selection, store upkeep, and ensuring compliance with state laws. Key Responsibilities Greet customers and provide exceptional service Assist with product recommendations and educate customers on items Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and displays Check IDs to confirm customers meet the age requirement (21+) Stay up to date with product knowledge and industry trends Follow all California regulations related to tobacco, vape, and smoking accessories Restock merchandise and receive inventory Assist with opening and closing duties as needed Qualifications: Must be 21 years of age or older (as required by California law) Retail or smoke shop experience is a plus, but not required Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to handle cash and operate standard cash register Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently or as part of a team Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends Knowledge of vape, tobacco, glass is a bonus Work Environment: Laid-back, customer-focused atmosphere Job Type: Part-time Pay: $16.90 per hour Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Ability to Commute: Fallbrook, CA 92028 (Required) Work Location: In person
