This role requires exceptional evangelism skills, deep understanding of the database industry landscape, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand VAST Data's customer base Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship building Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within target accounts Conduct in-depth product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition of VAST Data's innovative data platform Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product management, and customer success to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and alignment with company objectives Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to effectively position VAST Data's solutions in the market Negotiate contracts and close deals while adhering to company policies and procedures Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and activity reports to management Serve as a brand ambassador for VAST Data, representing the company with professionalism and integrity at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings Continuously strive for personal and professional growth through ongoing learning and development initiatives
