Based in our Pasco corporate office, the successful Sales Manager will lead and develop the 15 to 20 sales professionals that make up our corporate Sales Department, mainly focusing on meeting and exceeding the expectations of existing and new customers. For 39 years, CO-Energy has been the leading provider of fuels, lubricants and related products and services to agriculture, commercial and government customers throughout Washington, Idaho and NE Oregon. COMPENSATION: $120,000 to $160,000 per year base salary range; Annual performance bonus; Paid Time Off (PTO): 16 days annually; Paid holidays: 7 annually; Employee discounts on fuel and other products we sell; Voluntary medical, dental, vision and life insurance; 401(k) retirement plan with company match upon completion of eligibility period ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : The primary focus of the Sales Manager will be the management, training and professional development of the 15-20 sales professionals to be successful in: Servicing and supporting their existing customer relationships; Cultivating and expanding new customer relationships; Increasing sales in their respective sales territories; Meeting personal and company sales and performance goals Additional focus areas: Travel regularly to meet with sales team members in company provided vehicle (25% of the time); Maintain professional, positive relationships with current suppliers and vendors, and; Cultivate and develop new relationships with potential suppliers and vendors; Develop sales plan with sales team for capturing and securing new customers/business; Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts; Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment; Plan sales and training meetings; Adhere to all company policies and procedures; Adhere to all federal, state & local laws governing a safe work environment; Report unsafe acts and conditions; All other duties as assigned to ensure uninterrupted operations & customer service to include additional hours and shifts. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Seven (7) or more years of successful professional sales experience; Four (4) or more years of management experience leading sales professionals; Business to Business sales experience; Demonstrated record of success in Meeting sales goals; Client/Customer success and satisfaction; Resolving customer complaints; Product knowledge: learning, understanding all aspects of products/services sold; Possess a valid driver license with an excellent driving record in order to meet insurability standards that are required to operate company-owned vehicles DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Previous sales experience in the fuel, oil and/or lubricants industry PRE-EMPLOYMENT VERIFICATIONS: An offer of employment will be contingent on the successful completion of the following post-offer, pre-employment verifications: Drug screen that includes testing for Cannabis use as this is a safety sensitive position due to the requirement to operate company-owned vehicles; Criminal background check; Insurability verification in order to operate company-owned vehicles
