Job Description
Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is seeking a motivated Chain Sales Merchandiser to support our Sales & Business Development team in the Beverage & Food Operations industry. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and ensuring flawless retail execution of our portfolio of wines and spirits across an assigned territory of chain accounts, including grocery, big-box, and other high-volume retail locations. Working closely with store managers and key decision-makers, you will build strong relationships, secure additional product placements, and implement promotional programs that enhance visibility and increase volume. As a Chain Sales Merchandiser, you will spend the majority of your time in stores, executing on merchandising priorities such as stocking shelves, rotating inventory, building eye-catching displays, ensuring accurate pricing and signage, and maintaining planogram standards. You will regularly monitor inventory levels, identify out-of-stocks or low-stock situations, and coordinate orders to ensure our products are always available to consumers. You will also review basic sales reports and account performance data to identify opportunities to grow share, improve display effectiveness, and optimize the product mix in each location. This role requires strong organizational and time-management skills, as you will plan and execute a daily route across multiple accounts while meeting company and supplier expectations for frequency and quality of visits. You will work in close partnership with Sales Representatives and other members of the Sales & Business Development department, aligning on priorities, sharing market and competitive insights, and supporting larger sales initiatives and promotions.
