Sales Representative Hybrid Must live within 100 miles of McPherson, KSTravel 50 to 70 percentReports to General Manager About Exapta Exapta Solutions was founded in 1998 with one mission:bring better tools and techniques to no-till farming.We serve farmers across the United States and Canada who care deeply about soil health, ROI, and long term sustainability.We are relationship first, entrepreneurial, and built on integrity.Our customers expect expertise and honesty.We deliver both.The Role This is not an order taking sales job.This is a hybrid role for someone who wants to be in the field inspecting equipment, at farm shows building relationships, and on the phone driving revenue when inbound slows down.You will travel throughout KS, OK, MO, CO, and TX conducting farm visits, inspections, installs, demos, and attending farm meetings and trade shows.When not traveling, you are actively managing and growing your territory through outbound prospecting and customer follow up.Outbound activity is required.Expect 50 to 70 calls per week to both existing customers and new prospects.We provide leads and support, but initiative is non negotiable.You will sell wear parts and support full rebuilds.This requires strong mechanical understanding of planters and drills and the ability to diagnose issues and recommend solutions confidently.Success is measured by revenue growth and inspections that convert into sales.Key Responsibilities ? Conduct on farm inspections and convert opportunities into sales ? Travel 50 to 70 percent within assigned territory ? Make 50 to 70 outbound calls per week ? Build and maintain strong customer relationships ? Process orders and manage follow up ? Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving the sales process ? Maintain accurate records and activity tracking ? Good presentation skills; must be able to act as a brand ambassador in-person as well as on social media What We Are Looking For ? 5 plus years of sales experience with agricultural background preferred ? Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of planters and drills strongly preferred ? Grit, high activity level, and self initiative ? Relationship focused and coachable ? Comfortable working independently and as part of a team ? Clean driving record ? Must reside within 100 miles of McPherson, KS Compensation and Growth ?
