Outside Sales Representative – Territory Builder Recovery Cleaners, Inc. | Columbus, Ohio About Us Recovery Cleaners is a 30-plus year leader in textile restoration and content recovery. We partner with insurance adjusters and restoration contractors to restore clothing, bedding, linens, draperies, and specialty items after fire and water losses. We currently operate out of Michigan and are expanding our Ohio operation to meet growing demand across Columbus, Dayton, Toledo, and surrounding markets. The Opportunity We are hiring an Outside Sales Representative to build and establish Recovery Cleaners' presence across Ohio. This is not a typical sales position. You will be a Territory Builder who owns the entire Ohio market, develops relationships from the ground up, and establishes yourself as the trusted expert for contractors and adjusters throughout the region. You will work independently, manage your own territory, and have the opportunity to grow into a leadership role as the operation expands. As Ohio grows, so does your role. Our long-term vision includes building a full Ohio-based operation with general labor and project management. The person we hire today has the opportunity to grow into a regional leadership position as that vision becomes reality. This is ideal for someone who thrives on relationship-building, takes ownership of their results, and sees the potential in building something meaningful from the ground up. What You'll Be Doing Building genuine, long-term relationships with restoration contractors and insurance adjusters across your assigned Ohio territory. Responding to emergency calls and conducting first-site loss assessments with homeowners after fire and water losses. Managing existing accounts while actively prospecting for new business throughout the territory. Coordinating with our Michigan operations team to ensure smooth execution on every job. Traveling throughout the Columbus, Dayton, and Toledo corridor with some overnight stays within the Ohio territory required. You are comfortable initiating conversations and building relationships with decision-makers in the restoration and insurance industries. You have strong face-to-face communication skills. You are organized, detail-oriented, and reliable. You thrive working independently while staying connected to a supportive team. You genuinely enjoy helping people during difficult times and building trust over the long term. You have the stamina and commitment to establish yourself as the go-to textile restoration expert in Ohio and are excited about the opportunity to build something, not just maintain it. Preferred Experience Outside sales experience, service-based preferred. Experience working with insurance professionals or restoration contractors is a strong plus. Proven ability to build and grow relationships over time. Comfortable using a CRM to manage activity and follow-up. Compensation and Benefits Base salary: $75,000 per year. Performance bonuses based on monthly and annual production milestones. On-target earnings of $130,000 to $150,000 or more for strong performers in Year 1. Significant growth potential as the Ohio territory scales.
