Used Car Sales Representative Job Description Position Summary: A Used Car Sales Representative is responsible for selling pre-owned vehicles to customers while providing exceptional customer service. This role involves understanding the features and benefits of a wide variety of vehicles, building customer relationships, and achieving sales goals in a fast-paced, commission-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Assess customer needs and help them find the right used vehicle to match their budget and lifestyle. Present and demonstrate features of vehicles, including test drives. Explain financing options, warranties, and vehicle history reports. Negotiate pricing and close sales in a transparent and ethical manner. Process sales paperwork and ensure compliance with dealership and legal requirements. Follow up with potential and previous customers to maintain relationships and generate repeat business. Stay updated on inventory, promotions, and automotive industry trends. Meet or exceed monthly sales quotas and performance metrics. Required Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and competitive attitude. Basic computer skills. Work Environment: Fast-paced dealership environment. Interaction with a diverse range of customers.
