Job Description
Sales Representative - Wine & Spirits (Rhode Island) Importer/Distributor The Opportunity:Ruby Wines Inc Rhode Island is looking for a results-driven Sales Professional to manage and expand our Rhode Island territory.You will serve as a strategic partner to On-Premise (bars/restaurants) and Off-Premise (liquor stores) accounts, driving revenue through relationship building, product education, and timely merchandising.Key Responsibilities Territory Growth:Manage existing accounts while aggressively prospecting and opening new accounts. Portfolio Mastery:Maintain deep product knowledge to effectively pitch all portfolios and brands. Strategic Planning:Organize daily routes and prepare tailored sales presentations with clear pricing and sell sheets. Customer Experience:Conduct in-store tastings and staff trainings to ensure product sell-through and high brand visibility. Account AR Maintenance:Monitor and collect payment from accounts within credit terms. Account Merchandising:Build displays and manage inventory levels (requires the ability to lift up to 55 lbs).Qualifications Experience:3years in Retail, Hospitality, or Wine/Spirits Wholesale. Education:Bachelor's degree preferred; industry certifications (e.g., WSET) are a plus. Logistics:Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (please bring a copy of your record to your interview).
