We are seeking a Sales Specialist to join our expanding team and support business growth in the Southeast US. This individual will be responsible for driving sales, providing technical expertise, and ensuring customer satisfaction across the region. Position Summary The Sales Specialist is responsible for driving territory growth by generating and closing new opportunities and expanding existing accounts for Cytek’s portfolio of Flow Cytometry instruments, reagents, and services. Success requires a consultative, value-selling approach across in-person and virtual engagements; technical proficiency; strong funnel management and forecast accuracy; and the ability to build deep account knowledge through multi-stakeholder alignment to drive timely decisions and customer outcomes. Key Responsibilities Sales and Business Development: Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in academic, government, clinical research, Biotech, Pharma & CRO laboratories. Achieve and exceed territory sales targets through effective prospecting, lead generation, and consultative value-based selling. Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers by providing ongoing support and identifying new opportunities. Drive in-person customer engagement across the territory (discovery, stakeholder alignment, demos/evaluations, and close planning) to accelerate deal velocity and win rates. Ability to operate in a remote territory role, owning priorities, outcomes, and customer experience end-to-end. Technical Expertise And Support Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations, effectively communicating the capabilities and benefits of Cytek’s spectral flow cytometry technology. Provide post-sales support, including follow-up visits and coordination with Field Service and Applications teams to ensure customer satisfaction. Translate technical capabilities into customer workflows and measurable outcomes; communicate clearly with scientific and executive stakeholders. Territory Management Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to maximize sales growth. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline development, and customer interactions using CRM tools. Build and execute an account/territory plan that drives consistent pipeline creation and progression. Plan and execute a territory cadence that prioritizes on-site meetings while maintaining strong CRM and forecasting discipline to support business planning and customer commitments. Collaboration And Representation Collaborate with Field Applications Scientists, Field Service Engineers, and Marketing teams to address customer needs and deliver seamless customer experience. Represent Cytek at industry conferences, trade shows, and regional meetings, including pre- and post-event activities. Market Insights And Reporting Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback, including competitive learnings from the field. Provide regular reports to management, offering insights to support strategic decision-making that strengthens our positioning, messaging, and territory strategy. Qualifications And Experience Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, Engineering or a related field A minimum of 7 years of Life Science Sales experience. Previous experience in capital equipment sales is preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience in flow cytometry or a related field. A strong knowledge of Life Science Accounts and Laboratories throughout the Southeast US Proven ability to grow and manage a sales territory by building a qualified pipeline, maintaining strong funnel management and forecast accuracy, and consistently achieving or exceeding targets.
