Job Description
SALES STYLIST NEW YORK CITY FLAGSHIP | IMMEDIATE START Build a client book worth talking about. A globally celebrated, female-founded fashion brand — with a devoted following, an iconic aesthetic, and serious cultural momentum — is opening its New York City flagship. And they need the right person standing in it from day one. This is a rare, ground-floor opportunity to help shape how a beloved brand is experienced in one of the most influential luxury retail cities in the world. The clientele is discerning. The environment is extraordinary. The role is genuinely yours to own. If you are a polished, charismatic luxury retail professional who thrives on building real relationships, driving real results, and showing up as the most stylish person in the room — we want to meet you. This Isn't a Job Listing. It's an Invitation. You don't just sell clothes. You understand what a client wants before she can articulate it. You build the kind of relationships that turn first-time visitors into loyal regulars — and you take your personal sales performance as seriously as the experience you deliver. Who You Are A natural host. A trusted advisor. A closer. Polished & Warmly Magnetic — You make every client feel like the only person in the room. Genuine warmth, impeccable presentation, and an instinct for reading a room are second nature. Commercially Driven — You track your numbers. You know your conversion rate. You take pride in exceeding targets because you understand that strong individual performance lifts the entire team. A Natural Stylist — You have a strong point of view on fashion and the confidence to share it thoughtfully. You know how to build a look, and you know how to make a client feel extraordinary wearing it. Entrepreneurial & Ownership-Oriented — You treat your client book like a business. You follow up. You reach out. You remember the details. You don't wait for clients to come back — you give them a reason to. What You'll Own A role with real responsibility. This is not a floor support role. From day one, you are a key face of this flagship — with ownership across client experience, sales performance, and brand presentation. Client Experience — The relationship is yours. Deliver a refined, intentional, high-touch experience for every client from first greeting through checkout. Act as a trusted style advisor — listening closely, curating looks thoughtfully, and building the kind of loyalty that brings people back by name. Sales Performance — The numbers matter. Own them. Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales, conversion, UPT, and AUR targets. Proactively identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities. Contribute meaningfully to daily, weekly, and monthly store goals — not because you're told to, but because you want to. Visual Standards — The floor always reflects the brand. Maintain exceptional standards of product presentation, sizing, and replenishment at all times. Ensure the store environment reflects the brand's refined aesthetic — and share client insights that help inform merchandising and buying decisions. Operations — The behind-the-scenes runs on you too. Support daily operations including stock receiving, transfers, inventory, and fitting room flow. Adhere to all policies related to loss prevention, cash handling, and transaction accuracy. Collaborate closely with store leadership and teammates to build a high-performing team culture. What We're Looking For The standard we hold ourselves to. 1–2+ years of luxury or premium retail experience is required. Beyond that, we care about how you show up, how you connect, and how you perform. Luxury retail background — 1–2+ years in luxury or premium retail, preferably women's ready-to-wear or multi-brand boutiques. The environment you're walking into is elevated — you should already know how to operate there. Proven sales performance — A consistent record of meeting or exceeding individual sales targets through clienteling, styling, and personalized service — not just floor presence. Client experience fluency — A genuine understanding of high-touch service standards, from first impression through follow-up. You know the difference between good service and memorable service. Operational competency — Comfortable with POS systems, inventory, and retail operations. Familiarity with Shopify POS and RFID is a plus — comfort learning new systems is essential. Schedule flexibility — Availability for weekends, evenings, and key trading periods. This is a flagship — the hours reflect tha
