Position Overview We are seeking a motivated Salon Assistant to support our team with daily salon operations while learning and growing within the beauty industry. This is a great opportunity for someone currently attending cosmetology school or already licensed who wants hands-on experience in a specialized salon environment. Requirements Must have a cosmetology license OR currently be enrolled in cosmetology school Basic styling knowledge required Strong willingness to learn and grow Compassionate and professional with clients experiencing medical hair loss Self-starter who can work independently when needed Friendly, dependable, and organized Responsibilities Assist stylists and salon staff throughout the day Greet and direct clients Answer phones and assist with scheduling Learn and use Vagaro booking software Laundry, cleaning, trash removal, and salon upkeep General salon support and miscellaneous tasks as needed Help maintain a welcoming, comfortable environment for clients Preferred Qualifications Experience with Vagaro booking software is a plus Knowledge of QuickBooks is beneficial but not required Pay Starting pay: $12/hour Opportunity to move up to $15/hour if hired on full-time Schedule Part-time with potential for full-time employment Why Join Us?
