Responsibilities Provide expert hair styling, coloring, and finishing services tailored to each client’s preferences and features Perform specialized treatments such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with industry regulations and salon policies Use salon software systems like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently Offer personalized product recommendations through upselling techniques while educating clients on hair care and retail options Manage front desk duties including greeting clients, checking in appointments, and handling payments with retail math accuracy Mentor junior team members and assist in store management tasks to ensure smooth salon operations and excellent customer service Requirements Valid cosmetology or barbering license with comprehensive knowledge of hair styling, coloring theory, and sanitation standards Experience with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, hair threading, makeup application, and nail care is highly desirable Proficiency in salon software platforms such as MINDBODY for scheduling and retail management Strong communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members from diverse backgrounds Demonstrated ability in retail sales techniques including upselling and retail math to meet sales goals Knowledge of store management principles and front desk operations to support daily salon functions Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods and performing detailed styling work confidently Join us if you’re energized by transforming clients’ looks while delivering top-tier customer service!
