Sand Oven Operator and Material Handler

Job Summary The sand over operator/material handler is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining an industrial sand oven. This part time position is ideal for someone looking to make supplemental income on a regular basis working 2 to 3 hours a day. Duties Operate and monitor sand oven equipment during production runs. Monitor oven temperatures, cycle times, and other critical settings. Conduct routine inspections of oven equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety compliance Load and unload material safely and efficiently. Maintain detailed logs of oven operation, maintenance activities, and production data for traceability and reporting purposes Follow all workplace safety procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or GED minimum. Manufacturing experience preferred. Basic math and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently or as a team. Strong attention to detail and safety awareness. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not required.
