SAP Fico Consultant

Title: SAP Fico Consultant Duration: Full-time Location: Harrisburg, PA (Hybrid) Job Description D&H Distributing is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA FICO Functional Consultant to join its SAP Center of Excellence. This is a permanent, staff position ideal for an experienced consultant ready to plant roots with a single client and drive long-term finance transformation. You will serve as the functional finance expert bridging business stakeholders and the systems integrator across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cost Controlling, and Asset Accounting. Key Responsibilities:- Configure and support SAP S/4HANA Finance modules including GL, AP, AR, AA, and CO (Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders) Develop functional specifications for RICEFW objects and collaborate with ABAP developers on enhancements, reports, interfaces, and forms Perform fit-gap analysis and translate business finance requirements into scalable SAP solutions using Clean Core methodology Lead and coordinate UAT cycles, defect resolution, and cutover activities for finance workstreams Represent the business to the systems integrator articulating requirements, reviewing designs, and validating delivered solutions Maintain configuration documentation, process flows, and functional designs per ITIL standards Support month-end/year-end close processes and provide post-go-live hypercare and incident management Deliver end-user training and develop supporting training materials Required Qualifications:- 5+ years of hands-on SAP FICO functional configuration experience Multiple end-to-end S/4HANA implementations (RISE preferred) Strong RICEFW experience ability to write detailed functional specs for development objects Solid understanding of finance integration points with SD, MM, and EWM Experience with SAP Activate methodology and Clean Core principles Excellent communication skills; ability to represent business to third-party integrators Located near a major airport (East Coast/Central preferred); open to 2 weeks onsite/1 week remote travel schedule Preferred Qualifications:- SAP S/4HANA Finance certification Experience with SAP Cloud ALM (CALM) Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery models Manufacturing or distribution industry background
