Responsibilities Prepare and cook various meats, and other items on the grill according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and kitchen area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and timing. Monitor food quality during cooking processes to ensure optimal taste and presentation. Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages. Follow proper knife handling techniques for safe food preparation. Participate in menu planning and suggest new dishes based on seasonal ingredients or trends. Skills Experience in the food industry, particularly on the grill. Knowledge of fine dining standards and practices. Proficiency in food preparation techniques, including grilling, sautéing, and plating. Strong knife skills for efficient meal preparation. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members.
