SCALE HOUSE OPERATOR:We are a family owned and operated Sand & Gravel, Excavation and Landscape Construction Company located in Acton, MA seeking a motivated individual to operate our scale house and be a part of a great team.This is a full time (with paid overtime), year-round position.Job applicants should meet the following criteria:Experience:The ideal candidate will have experience in the following:Knowledge of aggregate materials, trucking operations, scale operations, basic computer skills.Operating weigh scales, scale computer and software programs, cashier responsibilities, reporting and record keeping.Ensuring trucks are within weight restrictions, assist customers in routine situations, maintain scale facilities and aid with other miscellaneous administrative support to the Site as needed.SKILLS:In addition to the experience listed above, candidate should be comfortable working in a team environment.Must be able to maintain system cleanliness and communicate comfortably with customers, drivers and equipment operators.Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and approach all encounters with employees, customers and vendors in a friendly, service-orientated manner.All motivated, hardworking individuals with experience in public or private site work will be considered.REQUIREMENTS:The following requirements must be met to be considered for a position:Valid MA Driver's license with clean record, DOT Certificate and the ability to pass a drug test.Our growing company has been operating within the construction field for 30 years.We offer great benefits including vacation, paid holidays, dental/health insurance and retirement savings.Year-end bonuses based on performance.Please contact us if you feel you would be a great fit for the position.We would love to hear from you!
