Scale Master and Recycling Enthusiast

Are you passionate about recycling, sustainability, and making a difference for our island ? Hawaii Organics Compost is looking for a dedicated, organized, and eco-minded individual to manage our scale house operations and work with our crew on day-to-day activity . Key Responsibilities: Operate the scale house, accurately weighing incoming and outgoing materials Track green waste volumes and maintain detailed records Greet and assist customers, contractors, and delivery drivers with professionalism Ensure proper sorting and processing of green waste Monitor site safety and cleanliness Oversee equipment and coordinate with composting team as needed Support deliveries, pickups, and material sales as needed Help educate customers about composting best practices Qualifications: Enthusiasm for recycling, composting, and sustainability Excellent communication and organizational skills Comfortable working outdoors and in a hands-on environment Experience operating scale systems or willingness to learn Computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.Knowledge of excel and word a plus.
