Job Description
PURPOSE OF POSITION To provide efficient and effective scheduling support to squadrons.MINIMUM Qualifications Education:Vocational or other post-high school training.Training and Experience:Familiarity with aircraft and weapon system scheduling.Ability to prioritize conflicting requests.Experience working in a dynamic high stress environment.Prior operational scheduling.Qualifications:Experience with aircraft and weapon system scheduling.General Skills:Must be able to handle multiple tasks, a self-starter, flexible in work assignments, detail oriented, highly organized, possess good interpersonal and written communication skills, and work under limited supervision.Computer Skills:Familiarity with normal government software and hardware.Familiarity with FAX and email.Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Work, Excel, and Power Point.Access a plus.Security Clearance:Current security clearance of Secret or above.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide weekly schedule via email to all permanent party, students, and applicable distribution boxes.Schedule IRC Classes.Attend 163 ATKW Operations/Maintenance weekly meetings.Coordinate scheduling with contract Joint Terminal Air Control (JTAC)'s for effective CAS training.Coordinate Point of Contact/Field Training Detachment tours with appropriate agencies.Perform daily updates of scheduling data as required to compensate for ongoing training conditions and requirements.Provide liaison between operational squadrons and FTU by providing their schedulers simulator availability as well as instructor/evaluator availability.Build weekly flying schedule based on academic/simulator/flying requirements and input to LMS/TMS including personnel assignments.Learn and integrate the new scheduling program for the FTU - LMSTMS.Coordinate with SIM contractors to insure simulator readiness.Schedule OPS Simulators for 196 ATKS flyers.Central point of contact for TDY personal.Coordinate support requirements (e.g., JTACs) necessary to facilitate desired training.Attend weekly 196 ATKS scheduling meetings as required.Support unit in exercise planning conferences and track unit exercise involvement as required.Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY None NOTE:In filling a vacant position, preferred or required credentials regarding education, training, experience, skills, and other bona fide occupational qualifications may be established.The credentials shown in this job description may be interpreted only as the minimum criteria existing at the time the description was developed.Other bona fide occupational qualifications and criteria may be utilized as needed in the selection process.The duties listed above are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed.The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment to the position.The job description does not constitute an employment agreement between the employer and employee and is subject to change by the employer as the needs of the employer and requirement of the job change.The order of duties and responsibilities listed in this job description is not designed or intended to rank the duties and responsibilities in any order of importance relative to each other.MilSup LLC is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer..
