Branch On Demand Earned Wage Access As the Staffing Coordinator you are responsible for implement and monitor staffing schedules to support resident care in Parsons Health Center.We require advanced skills needed to work within Microsoft Office in addition to utilizing designated online staffing software.Must have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and provide high quality administrative assistance while providing exceptional customer service to the Healthcare team.MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:Establish staffing patterns and schedules for all nursing staff and ensure required staffing requirements are met; coordinate and schedule staff to meet needs of service Secure personnel for absences and adjust schedules as required to ensure quality resident care Develop and maintain schedule utilizing designated staffing software Responsible for health care timekeeping and payroll; provide administrative support for training records and policy and procedure preparation Use and adapt to new technologies, including tools, equipment, methods of application, computerized systems and processes, etc., to impact productivity of department and services; keep job-required technical skills up to date Interpret and enforce staffing policies for nursing personnel during course of work; maintain and provide documentation on staffing issues, including employee incident reports in accordance with company policies Maintain records on vacations, sick leave, leave of absence, holidays, excused and unexcused absences and recommend action thereon Assist in coordinating educational in-services and clinical training for all nursing staff Assist with the department budget, statistical monthly report, budget variance report and prepare specialized reports upon request Additional duties as assigned EQUIPMENT:Computer, including medical documentation systems SARA communication system (resident call system) General Office Equipment PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Work is primarily sedentary Ability to lift 25 pounds without assistance, 26pounds with manual or mechanical assistance REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:Ability to make decisions and choices without direct supervision Effective verbal and written communication skills.Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dynamic environment Ability to communicate effectively; to collaborate with team members and other departments DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:Experience working with AOD or other health care databases REQUIRED EDUCATION AND Experience:High School Diploma or equivalency Required:Two years directly related experience CPR, AED and First Aid Certification DESIRED EDUCATION AND Experience:Associate degree Experience working with seniors Previous healthcare experience Previous hospitality experience REQUIRED BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to complete assigned task within schedule and with a high attention to detail Ability to make sound decisions based on objective analysis of a situation Skill to proactively recognize situations where change is needed and to initiate appropriate action Ability to embrace and show compassion through patience with and understanding of other people in different situations Ability to create a high-performance work environment where others pull together to complete tasks Westminster Canterbury Richmond opened in 1975 and is a premier continuing
