Patient Scheduling Coordinator (Entry Level) Position Overview We are seeking a detail‑oriented and compassionate Patient Scheduling Coordinator to support a high‑volume scheduling environment. This role is responsible for coordinating appointments, maintaining accurate electronic documentation, and serving as a key point of contact for patients and internal teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced call center setting, communicates effectively under pressure, and delivers high‑quality service while meeting strict deadlines. Key Responsibilities Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently Follow and reinforce established scheduling policies and procedures Communicate clear and complete appointment information to patients and internal teams Audit, complete, and maintain electronic patient and case documentation in a timely manner Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high degree of accuracy Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients, peers, and supervisors daily Handle calls with empathy and professionalism, even in fast‑paced or high‑pressure situations Consistently demonstrate values centered on purpose, excellence, compassion, and teamwork Work Environment Call center–based role High call volume with structured workflows Fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment Strong focus on quality, accuracy, and patient experience Required Qualifications (Must‑Haves) 2+ years of recent call center experience Strong customer service skills with an empathetic communication style High attention to detail, especially with data entry and documentation Ability to adapt quickly and support multiple departments when needed Ability to think quickly and respond professionally in time‑sensitive situations Strong verbal communication skills when interacting with diverse audiences Demonstrated professionalism and reliability in a team environment Preferred Qualifications (Nice‑to‑Have) Bachelor’s degree Disqualifiers CNA experience Core Skills & Competencies Call center operations Customer service Data entry and documentation accuracy Time management and prioritization Professional communication Adaptability and problem‑solving Experience Level Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
