Compensation: 60; Starting at $75 per hour (DOE) Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a 60; School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) to support an 60; elementary school district in the Perris area for the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year. This is a full-time onsite position serving students across elementary school sites. The Occupational Therapist will work collaboratively with educators, families, and related service providers to support students’ participation, access to curriculum, and functional success within the school environment. The ideal candidate is a team-oriented professional with strong pediatric and school-based skills, effective communication, and a passion for supporting student development. Responsibilities: Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to 60; elementary-aged students Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments Develop goals, accommodations, and service recommendations as part of the 60; IEP team Address fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, self-regulation, handwriting, self-care, and classroom participation Support student access to curriculum and school routines through appropriate interventions and accommodations Recommend and support the use of adaptive equipment, tools, and environmental modifications Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress reports, and service logs Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary team members Travel between assigned elementary school sites within the district, as needed Requirements: Active California Occupational Therapist license School-based or pediatric experience preferred Experience supporting elementary-aged students Ability to manage an elementary school caseload across school sites Availability for 60; 35 hours per week through the remainder of the 60; 2025–2026 school year Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills Reliable transportation for site-to-site travel Benefits At Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits: Competitive pay & weekly paychecks Health, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) savings plan Awards and recognition programs 60; *Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
