School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Overview: Lord Is The Light Healthcare LLC is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide 1:1 nursing care for students within Wake County Public Schools. Nurses will support students with medical needs during the school day, transportation, classroom activities, field trips, and school-related functions while helping ensure safe access to education. Responsibilities: Provide skilled 1:1 nursing care to assigned students Follow physician-ordered plans of care Monitor vital signs and student health status Administer medications and treatments Provide tracheostomy, ventilator, G-tube, and other specialized care as needed Assist with mobility, positioning, toileting, feeding, and daily routines Respond to emergencies and follow appropriate protocols Document nursing notes, treatments, and timesheets accurately Collaborate with families, school staff, and healthcare providers Maintain compliance with NC Board of Nursing standards and school policies Qualifications: Active North Carolina RN or LPN license Current CPR and BLS certification Experience with pediatric, school-based, home health, or special needs care preferred Strong communication and documentation skills Reliable transportation Ability to pass background checks Preferred experience Tracheostomy care G-tube feeding Seizure management Ventilator care Special education or pediatric experience Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN, Permanent Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour Benefits Flexible schedule Professional development assistance Work Location: In person
