Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) providing essential services in an elementary and pre-kindergarten school setting. This position spans from August 12 to November 2, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week. Key Qualifications Include Certification as an SLP with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) Experience or certification in school-based speech-language pathology Bilingual skills preferred for one of the positions, enhancing communication with diverse students Responsibilities Implement individualized speech and language therapy plans for elementary and pre-kindergarten students Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication development Provide assessments, progress monitoring, and documentation aligned with educational standards Participate in meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team supporting student needs Location: This role is located in Harvard, Illinois, serving the local school community Benefits of this contract position include working in a supportive educational environment, the opportunity to impact young learners during a critical period, and experience in a school setting that fosters professional growth.
