Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a school setting located in Oak Park, IL. This position supports an early childhood program, offering a schedule of 2.5 days per week (approximately 18 hours) throughout the full school year. The role is ideal for an SLP with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who is interested in working in a dynamic educational environment focused on early childhood development. Responsibilities Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to early childhood students. Collaborate with educators and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs). Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and legal standards. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment. Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and therapy goals. Qualifications Valid SLP certification with CCC credential. Experience working with young children in an educational setting preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to supporting children with diverse speech and language needs.
