Step into a dynamic, contract-based Speech-Language Pathologist role supporting K-8 students for the current school year, Extended School Year (ESY), and the upcoming academic year. This full-time opportunity places you in a collaborative school setting near West Chester, PA, where you will help students with a diverse range of needs, including those who are non-verbal. Desired Background and Experience Valid state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Previous experience in a school-based environment is strongly preferred Demonstrated expertise in working with students who have varying disabilities, including non-verbal communicators Ability to create and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Comfortable providing therapy across a wide age and grade range (K-8) Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct therapy services to students individually and in small groups Conduct screenings, evaluations, and ongoing progress monitoring Develop functional and measurable goals tailored to individual student needs Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to optimize communication outcomes Document sessions, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings Adapt and implement therapeutic activities for students with a variety of communication challenges, including AAC device users The role presents an exciting full-time schedule with consistency throughout the school year, ESY, and beyond.
